The Session agreed to schedule a Congregational Meeting after worship on Sunday, Jan. 22 for the purpose of presenting the 2023 budget, which the Session plans to approve at its monthly meeting on Jan. 16. Households that have not yet pledged are asked to give immediate consideration to giving, as 16 fewer have done so thus far as compared to last year.
In other business:
- Pastor Hoffman reported that the next phases of the Visioning Project will be special-interest group meetings in January and February followed by two town hall meetings, set for Sunday, Feb. 26 after worship service and in the evening on Monday, Feb. 27. The goal is to present a final report at the Officers’ Retreat sometime in March.
- The church’s HVAC system was tested by an engineering firm on Nov. 11 in an ongoing effort to resolve humidity issues in the sanctuary, and we are still awaiting a report of their findings.
