Worship Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

We love sharing the Word of God with children here at Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church. They serve as worship leaders through our LOGOS ministry, come forward each Sunday for a Moment With the Children, and preschool-third graders attend Sunday Experience. Below you’ll find how Sunday Experience works.

Sunday Experience

Sunday Experience is a special program just for children during Christ Memorial’s Sunday Worship Service. The program is held year-round and all children in preschool through third grade are welcome.

How it works: Children attend the 10:30 a.m. worship service with their parents, and after the “moment with children” they are invited to go downstairs for the rest of the service. The SE program is designed to teach  worship skills to the children and to let them participate in a more child-friendly, shortened version of worship. The children in the K – grade 3 class learn specific aspects of worship, like the Apostle’s Creed and the Lord’s Prayer, through participation. Each lesson includes music – either played or sung by the children themselves. Often, Sunday Experience concludes with a craft, puzzle, or other lesson activity.
