The Session agreed to hold a Congregational Meeting after worship service on Sunday, Nov. 13 for the purpose of electing officers to serve on the Session and the Board of Deacons in the Class of 2025.
In other business:
- Pastor Hoffman reported that 20 church volunteers are working to finalize interviews with CMPC households to get members’ thoughts on what the church’s priorities should be, now and into the future. Special-interest group sessions and town hall meetings are being planned for the next phase of the visioning process.
- The 2023 Stewardship Campaign will hold its first in-person events in three years throughout November, due to the pandemic, and will build on the theme “We Are an Offering.” More details to come.
- Work is ongoing on the sanctuary humidity issue with a recently-hired contractor set to begin performing tests on our HVAC system within two weeks.
