At its monthly meeting held on Monday, November 16th, the Session approved the CMPC Reopening Task Force’s motion to extend the building closure through March 1. Any changes to state or county governmental policy will be monitored in the interim.
In other business:
- CMPC groups meeting on the grounds are now required to adhere to the more stringent county restrictions on the number of people permitted to take part in small outdoor gatherings, thus excluding any exemptions on limits for religious institutions.
- A package of covid-19 waivers and building signage developed with a church attorney was approved to demonstrate CMPC has done its due diligence in clarifying potential risks and emphasizing personal responsibility on church property during the pandemic.
