Advent Luminary Walk
On Saturday, December 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm (rain date 12/13), Christ Memorial will offer an Advent Luminary Walk on the grounds of the church. This is a wonderful opportunity to walk alone (or with those in your household) to pause at stations to read, pray, and consider something to do for this time of Advent and Christmas. The walk includes paved areas and more challenging grassy areas. Ushers will keep people distanced and safe. Masks are required at all times. Please bring a flashlight. You will pick up instructions and a glow stick from our greeting table (near the church playground). The church building will not be open for restroom use. Enter the parking lot from Amherst Drive only.
In order to maintain a limited number of people on the church grounds at any time, please sign up to attend during a 30-minute increment FOUND ON THIS LINK.
This event is also a way to remember and honor special people in our lives. The suggested donation is $15 per recognition (or a donation amount of your choice). Donations toward luminary bags will go fully to the Howard County Food Bank. The recognition form is FOUND ON THIS LINK.
