The Session agreed to hold Committee Night in Fellowship Hall on Monday, June 5, and all committee chairs and at-large members are encouraged to attend. The meeting, which was previously a monthly tradition before the pandemic abruptly halted in-person events, will open with a meal at 6:30 p.m., followed by a meeting at 7 p.m. The date will be announced in worship and in the Friday E-News.

Talks on rectifying the ongoing humidity issue in the sanctuary continue after Whiting-Turner submitted a $25,000 proposal to resolve it. A dehumidifier will be set up in the interim.
The Property Committee is working to finalize a plan for a freestanding sign near the church’s Shaker Drive entrance to complement the one already in the works off Amherst Avenue.
The Session unanimously approved a motion to drop the mask mandate in the church nursery, but a sign will alert parents that attendants are willing to wear masks upon request.
Pastor Hoffman announced that he expects to hold a new member class in or around September.
