The Session passed three motions:
- To conduct a second Congregational Survey, with a goal of emailing it to church members by the end of the week.
- To maintain current covid-19 protocols in the church building for the time being – including the mask mandate and social distancing measures – with a commitment to ongoing review of CDC guidelines for Howard County as we approach Advent season.
- To resume passing the offering plates in the pews, dependent upon availability of volunteers to serve as ushers.
In other business, the 3rd capital campaign tally of lead gifts and advanced commitments – which was announced during worship service Nov. 14 – was restated: 36 households have pledged $1.053 million thus far. The rest of the congregation is asked to submit their pledges on Commitment Sunday, Nov. 21, and the final total will be announced during worship service on Dec. 5.
