Here’s what has happened in the last weeks:
- The new kitchen appliances have been delivered
- Some of the floor and wall tiles have been installed in the restrooms
- New doors have been hung throughout the new Shaker Drive addition
- Stairs have been added in the lower level of the Shaker Drive addition
- Work continues on the fire protection system throughout
- Grading work continues around the entire site—including the new playground area
Here’s what is scheduled to happen in the next week (or so):
- The hold opens will be installed for the new doors at the top of the new stairs
- Work will begin on finishing the classroom across from the pastor’s office and the current general contractor’s office
- The new floor will be laid in the office/classroom hallway
- The electrical and plumbing connections in the kitchen will be completed
- Countertops will be installed in the new restrooms
- The flooring will be installed in the new classroom in the Shaker Drive addition
- The walls and ceiling will be patched in fellowship hall and painting will begin
