Did you know you can donate to the CMPC Building Fund through your Amazon orders? For your regular Amazon purchases (whether or not you have Amazon Prime), use Amazon Smile! Go to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com. It is the same site (still Amazon) – the only difference is that at smile.amazon.com, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of all your future purchases to the charity of your choice.
To register CMPC as your charity, go to smile.amazon.com and log in as normal. If you haven’t registered an Amazon Smile charity, it will prompt you to enter one. In the entry box under “Or pick your own charitable organization:”, type “Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church” and hit the Search button. Next hit the Select button beside the “Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church, Columbia MD” entry. A “Thank you” box will come up –you can select the “Learn More” button to get more details about how this program works. The bottom line is that the money doesn’t come from you – Amazon donates it.
