Advent Luminary Walk
Join us on Saturday, December 18 from 6:00-8:00pm (rain date 12/19) for Christ Memorial’s Advent Luminary Walk on the grounds of the church. This is a wonderful opportunity to walk and pause at stations to read, pray, and respond with some simple art supplies provided. The walk includes paved areas and more challenging grassy areas. Ushers will be there to help. You may want to bring a flashlight. Pick up instructions and a glow stick from our greeting table (near the church playground). Enter the parking lot from Amherst Avenue only.
This event will also benefit people in our community who are food insecure. Monetary donations can be made through the church website at THIS LINK (see drop down menu), onsite at the walk, and by bringing non-perishable food items–all to benefit the Maryland Food Bank.
