  • The columns around the perimeter of the sanctuary have been drywalled in and mud applied
  • Work continues on roughing in the new fire alarm system
  • New lights have been hung in the downstairs lobby and hallway outside the elevator
  • Excavation has begun for the concrete pad for the new sanctuary HVAC unit (which will be delivered on site when the pad is complete)
  • The back wall of Fellowship Hall (behind the pulpit) has been covered with drywall and mudded

Here’s what is scheduled to happen in the next week (or so):

  • Electrical work continues
  • Skim coating of the sanctuary ceiling will continue
  • The lights above the old “porch” outside Fellowship Hall will be replaced
  • Work will begin on the water main project along Shaker Drive (which will provide our new water service)
  • The concrete pad for the new sanctuary HVAC unit will be poured
  • The foundations for the new stair tower will be set
  • The insulation and soffit will be installed under the Fellowship Hall overhang (under the “porch”)
