At Christ Memorial, not only do we join together in worship, we also participate in many Christian education opportunities throughout the week.
On Sundays during the 10:30 a.m. worship hour, children from preschool through grade three can attend Sunday Experience. A nursery is also provided during the 10:30 a.m. worship hour.
Instead of a weekly Sunday school, in addition to Sunday Experience and LOGOS, we offer monthly intergenerational GIFT (Generations In Faith Together). These are gatherings for all ages with Bible study and discussions, activities, and often a shared meal. We offer a variety of themes and styles of events.
Christian education is not only for Sunday. Several adult programs are offered during the week – all are Bible based and led by either our pastor or lay teachers.
CMPC has a well-established preschool that offers a Christian education based program for their children. Two-day, three-day, and five-day programs are provided for the children who attend. All classes are half day, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at noon.
On Wednesday nights from October to March the church comes alive with an active and thriving LOGOS program that has grown over the past 30 years. LOGOS is a 4 part ministry (Bible Study, Recreation, Worship Arts, and Family-style Dinner) for all of our children and youth – from preschool through high school and a whole lot of adult volunteers.
