Here’s what has happened in the last week:
- The drywall in the new entrance was completed
- Work has begun on the stairs in the new entrance
- The floor protection in the sanctuary was removed and the carpet thoroughly cleaned
- The sheathing was added to the new Shaker Drive addition roof
- The new light switches were installed in the sanctuary
- The windows were installed in the upstairs of the new Shaker Drive addition
- The hallway and some rooms under the fellowship hall have been painted
Here’s what is scheduled to happen in the next week (or so):
- The stairs in the new entrance will be completed
- The sidewalk, curb, ramp, and step in front of the new entrance will be poured
- The pews will be reinstalled in the sanctuary
- Work has begun and will continue on the church office, pastor’s office, and one classroom so as to complete those rooms and allow for the church offices to move back onsite
- The flooring will be installed in the church office, pastor’s office, and one classroom/meeting room
