What a successful day this group had making some repairs and updates for a special lady. Brent Jones, our leader, did a stellar job of picking a house and organizing the helper and supplies to do some much needed work for a neighbor in need. We had a talented and plentiful team who worked inside and out. The yard work included weeding, mulching, trash removal and reattaching a damaged section of a 20’ high route 29 sound barrier. Inside, the team worked to replace a toilet with an ADA toilet, install smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector and two GFI outlets. By far the most ambitious job was to fully re insulate her house which required many hands to carry and place the insulation in her attic.
Not only is one neighbor’s house safer and more comfortable but each person who gave of their time and talents nurtured deeper friendships!
