In the last week of June, CMPC hosted our “Shipwrecked! Jesus rescues!” vacation bible school. More than 115 preschoolers and elementary schoolers learned about Jesus’ power to rescue when we are sad, lonely or going through a tough time. Children participated in crafts, bible time, recreation, videos, singing, dancing, and amazing snacks throughout the week. The VBS team couldn’t have done it without our awesome youth and adult volunteers! Many thanks to everyone for their support and contributions of materials and/or time to help make the week as great as it could be. We also were able to donate two large boxes of supplies for foster children through our mission project “Bags for Bedtime.” God’s love was everywhere!
