January was a busy month at Christ Memorial Christian Preschool. We began the month by learning about the wonders of winter. We discovered the animals that love winter and made bird feeders to care for our neighborhood birds during the cold months. Our preschool children have also enjoyed learning about God and Their Neighborhood this month. We learned about the many community helpers that work each day to make our neighborhood so great. Our 3-year old children traveled to the Savage Fire Department to meet some wonderful fire fighters. Our 4-year old children visited the Central Library to learn about all that librarians do for us. We even had some community helpers visit our school, including a special visit from a Hospital Therapy Dog named Emmy Lou! One day we found out all about farmers growing our food and the chefs that can cook for us! The children ended the day by “shaking” their very own butter together to enjoy. Our teachers taught about Jesus as a child and how he grew up to be an extra special community helper! It was another blessed month at the preschool!
