Worship at CMPC

Sunday Worship (10:30 am)

Our weekly worship follows a relatively traditional format with the addition of some contemporary music. Singing choirs of all ages, hand bells, choir chimes, puppets, and drama are featured on various Sundays. Either a children’s sermon as part of the service or WOW (Wonders Of Worship) for K-3rd graders is offered regularly. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.

Children in Worship

We welcome children in worship! Children’s worship bulletins are available each Sunday and Children’s Worship Kits are available by request. Each kit contains crayons, pen, pencil, tissues, paper and instructions for how to use the kit. This is a wonderful tool for teaching your child to become a participant in worship, not just an observer.

Most Sundays, we include a children’s sermon in worship or offer kindergartners through third graders the option of attending WOW (Wonders of Worship). The purpose of the WOW ministry is to give younger children, who are too old for the nursery but not quite old enough to appreciate the entire worship service, the option to participate in age-appropriate worship activities.

Children and older youth lead regularly in our worship services through our LOGOS ministry as singing choirs, hand chimes, drama, puppets and band.

Childcare

An infant and toddler childcare is provided during the worship service.

Choirs

We always welcome new people to join our choirs! The Trinity Choir (for adults and high school youth) rehearses on Thursday evenings. The Bells of Joy adult hand bell choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings. Please contact CMPC Director of Music Joy Exner at (410) 997-8011 for more information.

Our children and youth choirs (and other worship arts groups) for kindergartners through high school rehearse on Wednesday evenings as part of our LOGOS ministry.
