50 Days, 50 Ways of Reaching Out
In celebration of 50 years as a Community of Faith, we have gathered 50 outreach activities to show Christ's love to our neighbors locally and globally. ( More information is available on this page. )
Fund Raising and Mementos for the 50th Celebration:
Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church is celebrating fifty years of community, spiritual growth, and fellowship, culminating with a catered brunch and entertainment event on April 25th, 2010. To help offset the costs of this event, we have commissioned one-of-a-kind CMPC memorabilia to be created and made available for sale as a fundraiser.
Quilt Raffle
This quilt is one-of-a-kind, made by members of our own congregation, and it has a wonderful story behind it. For more information about this beautiful quilt and the raffle, see this page.
The drawing for the quilt will be held on April 25, 2010.
Monthly Gift Basket Raffles
November's gift basket is sponsored by the Care Committee. Their "Mind, Body and Soul" basket will nourish your mind, body, and soul. Tickets are available for two more weeks (as of Nov. 20th).
December's gift basket is sponsored by the Trinity Choir and is loaded with "Holiday Fun." It will be raffled off on the Sunday before Christmas, December 20th.
CMPC "stained-glass" Christmas Ornaments.
The first of a series of seven Christmas ornaments that re-create CMPC's stained glass windows has arrived for sale!!!! This first ornament depicts our "Birth Window" [click on the left image to see a larger view] and will be sold before and after the church service for $25.00. We currently only have 150 ornaments for sale, so they are in limited supply. We will reorder if we have at least fifty additional requests with payments in hand. Once this ornament is sold we will commission a second window to be created.
What a wonderful gift and memory of our church home. We hope you will eventually buy all seven for your collection of special Christmas ornaments. All proceeds will benefit the anniversary committee
